Extreme Sports Camp is an individualized outdoor sports program in the Aspen-Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. We welcome individuals ages 7 and up with an autism spectrum disorder, including classic autism, PDD-NOS, Asperger's and related diagnoses. Participants of any athletic ability can succeed; beginner to advanced skill levels are welcomed. We accept people all across the autism spectrum and pride ourselves in ensuring progress in our sports while having lots of fun!
We use autism-friendly/autism-engineered approaches that inspire fun and athletic accomplishment. Our camper/counselor ratio exceeds 1:1, ensuring that each and every camper receives personalized instruction so that they can and DO achieve their personal best.
Please refer to the Register Now section of our website for any Winter 2011 ski/snowboard week-long session program availability. We also offer individual ski and snowboard lessons throughout the season. Available as full day and half day, these lessons are taught by either our pros or ski buddies who are specially trained in teaching sports to those with autism.
Our summer camp will start in May and runs through the end of August. This program includes activities such as rock climbing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, whitewater rafting, bouldering, and so much more!
