Sunnyhill is a nonprofit organization established in 1979 that provides residential support, recreation and educational opportunities for individuals with developmental and other disabilities throughout St. Louis City, County and surrounding areas. Sunnyhill services include customized daily care, which provides support so that individuals can live their lives in the community with independence. Sunnyhill serves over 200 people with disabilities in this program. Sunnyhill recreational services provide camping experiences for individuals of all ages and abilities. These adventure programs allow individuals the unique opportunity to experience outdoor activities including the Alpine Tower, float trips, climbing and repelling, swimming, boating and hay rides. Most importantly, these programs assist people by forming new relationships and nurturing established ones. Sunnyhill University provides activities that keep individuals with developmental disabilities involved in life and their community through socialization, while offering the opportunity for growth through education.
