Since 1914, this YMCA Camp has been a jewel of the YMCA. Hosting Guide weekends, Family Camps, 1000's of young Campers, Band Camps and Church Camps; Camp Nissokone does it all.
The facilities have been well maintained are modern and very functional to carry on for future generations. YMCA Camp Nissokone is located on 170 acres of spectacular lakefront in Oscoda, Michigan. Campers stay in comfortable cabins with modern bathrooms. The camp has a wide variety of age appropriate activities and programs to suit any camper's interest, as we take full advantage of the lake and 1,000 acres of national forest that surround our camp. Nissokone is perfect for getting out in nature to adventure and play.
From the mile of Lakefront, to the Marching field, the Ranch, Paintball course and Ga Ga Pit; Camp Nissokone has recreation areas for all. Perhaps best of all is the natural beauty of the Chapel and the views of Loud Island. These set the stage for your camper to have an experience that will last a lifetime.
