Chesnut Charter School was established in 1968 to meet the needs of the Peachtree/Dunwoody community. It is located just outside Interstate 285, and next door to Peachtree Charter Middle School. In the 2000-2001 school year, Chesnut began operating as a Charter School with an emphasis on basic skills. Curriculum will be enhanced with technological additions and improvements. Our charter gives Chesnut the flexibility to challenge and develop each student to his/her full potential.
